Savoury Cottage Cheese Toast

A five-minute, high-protein breakfast or snack. Creamy cottage cheese piled on wholemeal toast with sweet cherry tomatoes and fresh chives.

Why this works on GLP-1

Cottage cheese is quietly one of the best high-protein staples: it is packed with protein for very few calories, so a generous scoop delivers a strong hit without much bulk. That suits GLP-1 medication well, where appetite is lower and protein helps protect lean muscle during weight loss.

Served on wholemeal toast for a little fibre and topped with tomatoes and chives, it becomes a quick, savoury plate that feels like a proper meal. It is endlessly adaptable too, so it is easy to keep interesting day to day.
